Collaboration highlights

We've delivered public and private sector automation solutions with some of the best innovators in the land.

Project Delivery Management
My skills include tackling green field projects. During the web adoption era, Techpie Technologies was one of the first Netdynamics implementation practices to market. I set up an offshore development team and collaborated, coded, and delivered emerging data-driven JAVA web systems with Fortune 500 innovators. Distributed computing with WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, and clustered containers followed. Our project tracking system proof of concept was leveraged to provide first-round funding for Digite.

Public Sector Lead Contributor
As an onsite consultant with Attachmate, the State of California required onsite services to support developing Federal SSN verification and workflow automation services. Several web services were designed and coded to provide system integration interfaces for modernization and fraud reduction initiatives. The state’s EDD DMV portal was an early full-stack web system integration against a DMV mainframe. The verification services featured easy-to-use cross-branch queries. A compelling first step to mobile anywhere mainframe data. The State of California Health call center support team required integration support while migrating their legacy dialer campaign programs to a new AWS-based CISCO IVR system. I developed a simple interim solution involving a batch program and stored procedure-based script to bulk extract daily campaign results from the new dialer database. As a software engineer with Maximus’ development team, the State of Michigan (SOM) required securing third-party agent access to their web-based presumptive eligibility health care application system. My role was to lead the design and code of an Angular, Java (Spring), PostgreSQL-based web system. I added a SAML authentication layer that integrated with the state’s federated Identity Management (IDP) system.

System Migration and Modernization
As an Analyst at Infosys, specialized consideration for cost and performance issues required cross-functional team triage, investigation, and resolution as teams adopted cloud and microservice architectures. Recently I reviewed an AWS cloud migration pilot and helped identify and propose solutions for network, code, and database-level hot spots. As a consultant at Speridian, I tackled backlog features, coding JAVA and Spring REST API services for public-facing sites while helping simplify the development team's environment. At Starbucks I sprinted with a multi-disciplinary team delivering a new global store location service, providing JAVA, Spring, NodeJS, SAML and APIgee auth, Azure, k8, and JBehave skills.
